The addition of horns and vibraphone (on four tracks) extends the colour palette and underscores the growth of this band and its principle writer, Kevin Breit. Never dominating, the additional instruments compliment the dark, bittersweet atmosphere of 'Fifi' and 'Mission Bell Blues' and punctuate the rhythm section in 'Cousin of Martin Scorsese' and 'Frazzed'.
